Melinda started her career with United Country – Missouri Land and Home in the spring of 2011 as an Administrative Assistant. While working in that role, Melinda earned her Missouri Real Estate License. Continuing in her role as a marketing and auction specialist, Melinda honed her skills before launching her full-time real estate career.
Her marketing and auction experience, as well as extensive knowledge of pasture and farm land, make farms and ranches Melinda’s specialties. Growing up on a farm in Central Missouri and then marrying a farmer/rancher and helping him with the day-to-day decisions and activities on the farm gives Melinda a good grasp on farm and ranch values. While Audrain county is known for its exceptional farmland, it is also home to a large number of beef cattle as well. Acting as the general contractor on their family home, Melinda gained a good deal of insight into what upgrades can add value to a home.
Melinda and her husband have operated a 150-plus head, cow herd for nearly 30 years in addition to a small row crop operation. The couple has also been active with their sons, Chris and Jesse, in 4-H, FFA and several cattle organizations over the years. She knows what it takes to make a family farm work in today's changing ag economy. When she's not busy with real estate or farm activities, you can find her relaxing in the outdoors with her kids and grandkids or at a church function or at the local farmer’s market selling her family’s beef direct to consumers. Melinda is licensed in the state of Missouri.

Jeff is a lifelong resident of Burley, Idaho, located in the heart of SouthCentral Idaho. Cassia County is known for its extensive agriculture production of potatoes, sugar and milk, as well as it’s ranches and beef production. He obtained his Private Pilot’s license while in high school and has always loved the freedom that flying a small plane offers. He and his wife Rachel live just a few miles south of Burley where they have lived and raised four great young men, for over three decades.
He grew up farming and ranching on a family operation until he was in his thirties. His love and appreciation of this deep and extensive agriculture background remains a part of him today. Jeff was only seven when his father bought the Howell Creek Ranch, a modest little..hobby ranch if you will, of just over 1,000 acres, just out of Albion, ID. There were always four or five rideable horses so the love and respect of all animals (and an innate ability to seemingly communicate with them) came early and still runs deep in Jeff.
Jeff received his real estate license in 2018 and has been largely working with people in distressed property situations. His years (post farming) of customer service and helping people, along with a rich ag background, makes Jeff a great fit with United Country Real Estate and an ideal resource for finding your piece of Southern Idaho. Jeff is a member of the National Association of Realtors.
From a hand written note from a recent client, Lupe writes, “…I want you to know how amazing you have been to my husband and I. You got us out of a deep hole…Jeff, you and your son (Bo) are so amazing, I couldn’t have done this without you…I wouldn’t even know where to start. You were always there with encouraging words and positive things to look forward to…You have been God’s blessing to me. I mean that truly…I believe in what you do…you are very well respected.”
